Becca and Michael met as most millennials do these days - on a dating app. Michael's profile intrigued Becca as he was handsome, had a cute dog, and shared that one time he accidentally ordered 7 sushi rolls - she thought, how?! Becca had to know more, messaged Michael, and so their story began.
After a very successful video chat date, Becca and Michael met in person and they quickly fell head over heels for each other after a handful of dates. Michael knew Becca was the one when he saw how many recycle bins she had in her apartment. Just like him!
Becca wanted to test out their outdoor compatibility so she took Michael and Luna to her favorite camping spot in Tennessee. They quickly learned that they shared a love of the outdoors and went again the next month. Luna also had the time of her life!
Although their summer of love was shadowed by the sudden loss of Becca's father, Michael quickly became her rock in her time of grief. While Michael was in Texas, he met every single family member of Becca's and charmed everyone!
Becca and Michael planned a vacation of a lifetime - 10 days driving on the PCH from San Diego to Seattle. They didn't know what would happen with that many days driving in the car together or realize the challenge of driving such a long distance in a short amount of time, but they made it and they had the time of their lives!
A few weeks after they got back from their trip, Becca could not get enough of Michael and moved in! They ended the summer by planning a proposal for Becca's sister, danced their butt's off at Deep Tropics, and enjoyed Michael's birthday in Sedona.
They spent the next few months enjoying their first holiday season together. Activities included throwing a Halloween Party, traveling to Dallas for Thanksgiving, and spending Christmas in Houston.
Fast forward to March, Michael and Becca share their first camping music festival at Okeechobee and celebrated their first anniversary together.
They continued their adventures for the rest of the year dancing at weddings, visiting swimming holes with friends, camping, backpacking, and falling more and more in love until finally…
Michael and Becca traveled to their favorite place on Earth - Colorado. After 2 nights of backpacking through the wilderness, they settled in their cozy mountain cabin. The next morning as they were drinking their tea and professing their love to each other (as they do a million times a day), Michael then sweetly said "Let's continue to make each other happy forever," got on one knee and asked Becca to marry him.
